My daughter is ill and had her heart set on a Christmas Table setting of a pillar box red cloth with silver candles etc. I went looking for fabric but had no luck getting any wide enough for the table. I looked in various shops for a pre-made cloth but they were not the right shade of red and had a cheap looking silver strand through them. I became lost in Target Bull Creek and discovered I was in the bed linen section. To my amazement there were two king size sheets of exactly the shade of red I wanted. They were on special for $13 each but when I reached the till I was delighted to discover that they had been further reduced to $10 each.
I raced home with the sheets and at present our lawn is like a bowling green. So I laid each sheet on the lawn and traced the shape of an existing oval cloth for the main table. I already had red overlocker cones and it took less than half an hour to roll hem each cloth. I was delighted!! Jean
